1. Who we are

This website is operated by Omran Orthodontics Ltd (company number 16084496), registered office Chester House, Lloyd Drive, Cheshire Oaks Business Park, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH65 9HQ. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers information collected through this website and through emails sent to our addresses. It does not cover your clinical records. If you become a patient, your records are held by the clinic where you are treated, which has its own privacy notice.

3. Information we collect

  • Enquiries: your name, contact details and anything you tell us in your message. This may include information about your teeth or health if you choose to share it.
  • Referrals from dental professionals (sent by email): the patient’s name, date of birth, address, email and mobile number; the reason for referral; radiographs or images; and the referring dentist’s name, practice and GDC number.
  • Technical information: our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the website and keep it secure.
  • Visitor statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies or identifying you.

Referring dentists should send radiographs and clinical details by secure or encrypted email where possible.

4. How we use it and our lawful basis

We do not use your information for marketing unless you have asked us to, and we never sell it.

5. Who we share it with

  • The clinic where your consultation or treatment will take place.
  • Service providers who process information on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting and Cloudflare Web Analytics) and Google Workspace (email).
  • Regulators, insurers, indemnity providers or legal advisers where required.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an appointment: up to 12 months.
  • Referrals: passed to the treating clinic to form part of the patient’s record, which the clinic keeps in line with its own records policy. Copies held by us are deleted within 12 months.

7. Cookies

This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work and stay secure. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

8. Children

If the patient is under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on their behalf.

9. Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to have it transferred, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To use any of these rights, email info@dromranorthodontist.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk.

This website links to clinic booking pages and social media. Those websites have their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
